Marvelous and Historic News with profound implications for the Glory of God and the future of human history!
Early Friday morning, I received the following news from Association Luisa Piccarreta in Corato:
The second of two theologians assigned by the Vatican to review the Writings of the Servant of God, Luisa Piccarreta, has now completed his duty as censor of those writings. He also, like the first of the two theologians with this duty, has reached a POSITIVE assessment of her writings!!!!!

This is a profound development of incalculable consequence. All of Heaven is rejoicing. I will be making more commentary on this EVENT as we have time to digest all this.

I have a suspicion that the news may have come forth from the Vatican on July 22, Feast Day of St. Mary Magdalen, whose name Luisa took as a third order Dominican at age 18.

Tidings of Great Joy!

The Pious Association Luisa Piccarreta notified Fr. Carlos that the second theologian, an expert in Moral Theology, assigned by the Cause of Saints has also given his positive assessment of Luisa's Writings. (see below) I already reported to you, after we were with the Prefect for the Cause of Saints, that the expert in Mystical Theology gave his positive assessment of Luisa's Writings several weeks ago.

We will discuss the next step in her process tomorrow night here at Nazareth House 6:30 pm Saturday the 24th.

Status of Luisa's Cause for Beatification

Luisa's writings remain in the hands of the Vatican: one theologian has given his thumbs up while the other is in need of further illumination. Two huge miracles attributed to Luisa are now being examined, and the outcome appears very favorable.

About the procedure of the Beatification and Canonization

Of the Servant of God LUISA PICCARRETA

A year having passed since my first communication, (April 23 2007) I wish to bring up to date all those in the world who are interested in the procedure of beatification and canonization of the Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta. I am glad to give you all the following information.

The Postulator, the lawyer Silvia Monica Correale has informed us that the Congregation for the Causes of the Saints, in expectation of the emission of the decree of the judicial validity of the diocesan inquiry, has submitted the writings of the Servant of God to the theological censors for their examination, in accordance with Canon Law and the effective procedures.

I take this occasion to urge everyone to intensify their prayers in communion of faith and in obedience to the Church, following Luisa’s example, “so that the Glory of God shine on all and His reign of truth, justice, and love extend to the confines of the earth in the special charisma of the Fiat voluntas tua sicut in caelo et in terra”.

We know from the history of the Church that it is not only through man’s efficiency that the work of God goes on but through His powerful hand, and that we must continually invoke His intervention. We must therefore mobilize ourselves in a network of prayer and communion, and certainly the Lord will not be lacking in bringing His project to realization.

In this matter please don’t forget to communicate to the Central Office for the Cause of Beatification any spiritual gifts or healing obtained through the intercession of the Servant of God.

It is with great joy that I receive the news that more and more of the groups that are inspired by the Divine Will are strengthening their community links with their diocesan Bishops, so creating that indispensable communion within the local Church and so allowing any possible tension or division to be overcome.

I wish to repeat what I stated in my first communication, that, seeing the delicacy of the current phase of the proceedings, any and every publication of the writings is absolutely forbidden at this time. Anyone who acts against this is disobedient and greatly harms the cause of the Servant of God. “Prudence and respect for the Church obliges everyone to avoid any publication through print or the internet of Luisa’s writings either in Italian or any other language. This is also for legal reasons seeing that the Archdiocese of Trani-Barletta-Bisceglie has the exclusive rights of ownership of the writings. Faithful obedience to the Congregation for the Causes of the Saints is certainly the fundamental premise to a growing relationship of trust.” (Communication of 04/23/07).

Now is the time when material help is indispensable for the advancement of the Cause and it is a sign of effective communion with those who work directly towards it. All donations must be sent directly to the Central Office for the Cause at the address at the bottom of the letter.
Thanking God for the abundance of gifts that he has conceded us in this time of His Divine Will, I give my fatherly blessing to you all.
